Eligibility: Appomattox residents attending a college or university during the 2025-2026 academic year.  

Instructions: Email a 500 word essay describing what community means to you and how you plan to make a positive impact in the community. Send your email to: appomattoxequality@gmail.com. In the subject line put “Laptop for Scholars”. In the body of the email include your name, address, and contact number.

We will select one scholar to receive a laptop.
