An Open Letter for Healing and the Power of Appomattox

by Shronda Mosley, Appomattox for Equality Board President

An open letter for healing and the power of Appomattox:

Our nation has endured a collective struggle that won’t seem to quit. A pandemic, an economic depression, record unemployment, national debt increases, businesses closing, historic riots … and it’s only September, for crying out loud.

But I see a bright future for Appomattox County, and it begins with a strong leader who can help bring us all back together — starting on the local level. A leader who cares deeply about Appomattox, because it is his home. A leader who embodies a special brand of healing power.
